Estimados estudiantes de BI:

Depending on your interest, I would like to organize a group of you to attend this event with me. It sounds like a great opportunity to learn about politics and current society in Venezuela, if those are topics of interest to you. Please let me know if you think this is something you would like to attend so I can get an idea of how many students I would need to acquire space for and so I know what teachers/classes might be impacted. I'm not sure how much space is available or how many students I will be permitted to take so let me know ASAP if you want to reserve a spot. I'll put a sign up sheet on my door or you can confirm your interest via e-mail. We will need time to arrange transportation, to receive permission from the school and your teachers for you to miss class, and to get parent permission slips signed and returned. We would likely leave school at 11:35 (after lunch/beginning of period 5) and return by 1:20 so you would be missing periods 5 and 6.

!Gracias!

Holy frijoles! It's time for school!

¡Hola a todos! Espero que todos hayan descansado mucho durante las vacaciones. Hay mucho que hacer en el año que viene para estar listos para los exámenes del Bachillerato Internacional. ¡Tengo muchas ganas de verlos mañana!

Seasoned IB students: Quiero que ustedes will bring the following items with you to class:
• your textbook if you kept it over the summer. I need these ASAP so I can check them out to the new cohort.
• your workbook
• the podcast CD
• and the brief working notes you took on the podcasts you listened to

I sense that the horario information for students new to IB was not made too clear this year so below you will find info for your AM classes (PM schedule should remain the same as last year for both IB-11 and IB-12….as far as I know). I think the schedule is the same for returning IB students.

IB-11th:
Period 1 7:55-8:45
Period 2 8:50-9:40
Period 3 9:45-10:25
Period 4! 10:30-11:15
LUNCH
(no TOK first semester)

IB-12th:
Period 1 7:55-8:45
Period 2 8:50-9:40
Period 3 9:45-10:35
LUNCH /TOK—same as last year

¡Bienvenidos!/Welcome to our new IB students! I look forward to getting to know you all and to the busy year ahead. Hasta luego…. Sra. Fredregill

Espanol B: La naturaleza
